We are so excited to begin planning for the 2026-2027 Dance Season! Our staff has spent a great deal of time evaluating each student’s progress to ensure they are placed in an environment where they will thrive, grow, and be appropriately challenged. Below is a list of suggested classes tailored specifically to your dancer. When registration opens, please use this quick guide to selecting your schedule: Choosing Your Schedule: Please select one class per level that works best for your family’s schedule. Single Suggestions: If only one class is listed for a specific level, the Adagio staff believes this is the absolute best fit for your dancer’s current development and skill set. Scheduling Conflicts: We understand that busy schedules happen! If the suggested day/time truly does not work for you, we can look at alternative options. Please Note: An alternative class may be at a lower level than your dancer’s current ability to ensure they are still receiving proper technical instruction. Action Step: You can email the studio ahead of Open Registration so we can work on a different option for you before classes fill up! Our goal at Adagio is to provide a path for every dancer to reach their full potential. These recommendations are designed with your dancer’s long-term success and technical growth in mind. We can’t wait to have your dancer back in the studio with us next year!

Hello Adagio Families, I wanted to touch base regarding our upcoming schedule as we head into Spring Break! Office & Email Updates: I will be out of the office starting this afternoon, March 25th, through April 5th. While I will still be checking and answering emails during my vacation, please keep in mind that my response time may be a little slower than usual. Studio Schedule: March 26–28: Miss Rachel will be out of the studio. March 29 – April 6: The studio will be CLOSED for Spring Break. April 7: We return to normal hours and—most importantly—Registration Day begins! Miss Rachel will also be enjoying vacation with her family until April 5th. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our staff takes this time to recharge before a very busy April & May! We can't wait to see everyone back at the studio on the 7th. Due to the ongoing winter weather and winds causing whiteout conditions in many areas, all classes at Adagio are cancelled for tonight. While some local roads may seem okay for tonight, we have staff members and families that travel from out of town where conditions aren't good. We want to ensure everyone stays safe! Bring a Friend Week Update: Because of the closure, bring a friend week for our Monday students is being rescheduled: Original Date: Monday, March 16th New Date: Monday, March 23rd Please spread the word to any friends that were planning on joining us tonight!  We can't wait to see everyone back in the studio once the weather clears. URGENT: Class Cancellations for Tonight – Tuesday, March 10th Hi Adagio Families, Due to the severe inclement weather predicted for this evening, all classes are canceled for tonight, Tuesday, March 10th. The safety of our dancers, families, and staff is our top priority. We want to ensure everyone stays off the roads and remains safe during the storm.

March Studio Newsletter: Spring Updates & Important Dates Can you believe it's March already? The season is flying by, and we have some very exciting updates and important reminders as we head into our busiest months! Attendance & Performance Prep As we finish up our SDF choreography and begin cleaning the dances, it is imperative that your dancer is in every class. Every rehearsal counts toward making our performances the best they can be. Please ensure your dancer attends all scheduled classes so the groups can work together effectively! Bring a Friend Week! March 16th – 21st We are excited to announce Bring a Friend Week! Every dancer is invited to bring one friend to join them in class to experience the fun. We can't wait to meet some new faces in the studio! Spring Break & Schedule Notes Spring Break: The studio will be closed from March 29th – April 6th. Classes Resume: All regular classes resume on Tuesday, April 7th. Competition Dancers: Please note you will have rehearsal on Monday, April 6th. Stay tuned for a specific schedule coming soon. Looking Ahead: 2026-2027 Season Registration for the upcoming 2026-2027 season will open on April 7th. Pro Tip: Mark your calendars! Classes fill up very quickly, and spots are not guaranteed once a class reaches capacity. SDF Performance Info Ticket Sales: Tickets for SDF go on sale April 24th. More information on how to purchase will be sent soon. Costumes: Costumes are scheduled to be sent home the first week of May. Reminder: Tuition must be paid in full for your dancer to receive their costumes. Please check your account to ensure you are up to date! Here is the essential information for our upcoming Festival of Lights Parade participation and the studio's schedule this Thanksgiving week.  Festival of Lights Parade Details (Friday Night) Routine Practice: The mandatory parade practice was this past Saturday. We will do a final review of the routine in classes this week on Monday and Tuesday. Meeting Location: All participating dancers must meet at Ottawa Savings Bank on LaSalle Street at 5:40 PM. Travel Advisory: Please leave ample time for traffic and parking in town that evening! Dancer Pick-Up: After the dancers are done, please pick up your dancer behind the Jordan Block at the three flags in the parking lot.  Parade Shirt Pick-Up If you still need to pick up your dancer's parade shirt, they are currently on the table in front of the office. The studio will be open during the following hours for shirt pick-up this week: Tonight (Monday): Until 8:30 PM Tomorrow (Tuesday): From 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and then again from 3:45 PM – 7:30 PM  Studio Closure for Thanksgiving Please note the studio will be CLOSED Wednesday, November 26th, through Saturday, November 29th, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are excited to announce that we will soon be decorating our studio Christmas tree, and we would love for our dancers to help make it magical! We are inviting every dancer to create one handmade ornament to hang on the tree.   How to Participate   Choose Your Design: Please check the attachments for the file containing ornament template options. Print and Decorate: Print out one template and be as creative as you like! Use paint, crayons, markers, glitter, jewels—anything festive! Sign the Back:  please put your dancer's name on the back so we can see who created all the beautiful magic! Hang on the Tree: Bring the completed ornament to the studio and hang it up! You can begin bringing your ornaments in starting Monday, November 17th, all the way through the holiday season. Reminder: Just one ornament per dancer for the tree, please! Thanks in advance for helping us with this festive activity! We can't wait to see all the wonderful creations!

Ottawa Festival of Lights Parade on Friday, November 28th! 1. Mandatory Apparel   Required Sweatshirt: All participants must wear the parade sweatshirt designed to match this year's downtown Nutcracker window theme! Rehearsal Requirement   Who Must Attend: All dancers in classes above Intro level who wish to walk in the parade. Rehearsal Date/Time: Saturday, November 22nd, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM   3. Intro Dancers   Intro Dancers are absolutely welcome! They can order the required sweatshirt but must walk with a parent.
